Release of Managing Director and Appointment of Chief Executive Officer
Myanmar Thilawa SEZ Holdings Public Company Limited, hereby, announce to the shareholders
and the investors that U Aung Soe Tha, being assigned to the post of Managing Director from
10th November 2017 till a suitable successor is found, is now released from the duties of the
Managing Director. We, the Board of Directors thank for his valuable contribution to the
Company during his term of office as Managing Director.
The Board now appoints U Kyaw Zaw Wai, who has extensive financial and operational
management experience in leading Global and Americas Real Estate Organizations including the
world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm CBRE, as the Chief
Executive Officer of MTSH, effective from 2nd January 2019 in accordance with decision of the
Board of Directors Meeting held on 25th August 2018. The Board also believes that U Kyaw Zaw
Wai will drive MTSH towards achieving its objectives as a part of the leadership of the company
and will support the Board in strategic and operational decision makings.

MTSH, he worked for the global commercial real estate firm CBRE, Toronto ON in Canada from
2006 to 2018, held different management positions such as Director, Country Leader.
He committed to client service excellence with proven strength in team leadership, problem
solving and achieving results. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, financial
