The following dates will be available for Virtus training at Sacred Heart:
Sunday, August 4 10:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Thursday, September 5 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Both trainings will take place at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall, 106 Exchange St., Emporia. Light snacks will be
served at each training. All those in need of or interested in training must pre-register, complete the online
background check, and sign electronic documents at www.virtusonline.org. There are no fees associated
with registering. Registrants must allow a minimum of 30 minutes to complete the entire online process.
RELIGIOUS FREEDOM EVENT – JUNE 30TH
All are welcome to a fun, patriotic event and Rally for Religious Freedom on June 30th at the
Church of the Ascension!
Enjoy a free lunch, music, kids games, and an old-fashioned ice-cream social while staying
informed on important religious freedom topics.
11:45 a.m. Mass with Archbishop Naumann, 1:30 p.m. Rally and Speakers under the Big Tent

Justice, Faithful Citizens and FIAT, this event will conclude the U.S. Church’s Religious
