2. Front and Rear Suspension

Through the optimal allocation of components, and the front and rear suspensions realizes excellent riding
comfort, controllability, and off-road drivability.

Front Suspension

Service Tip
The camber and caster of the front suspension are adjusted at the adjustment cams of the lower arms,
and the toe-in is adjusted by changing the lengths of the tie-rod ends.
For details, refer to Hilux Repair Manual.

 AXLE

 Upper and lower ball joints and hub bearing of the front axle are used maintenance-free ball joints and
unit-type double-row tapered bearing.
 Rear axle is used a semi-floating axle to realize lightweight and simple in construction.
 On the models with ABS, the speed sensor rotor is integrated in the bearing inner race of both the front
and rear axles.
