I’m writing to you because I’m interested in the Substitute Teacher position as posted on the

district website, springisd.org. I have 60+ college credit hours and clinical hour experience.

I believe I will be an asset to your substitute team. Being a Spring ISD alum, I can bring the

student and staff perspective to the table. I enjoy working with children, older kids especially,

which is why I applied for the position at your campus. In addition, while in college, I’ve work

as an instruction operator so I’m familiar with what it takes to formulize lesson plans, maintain

big groups, and build on other strengths so I have a good understanding of now to maintain a

classroom. Your requirements match my skills. For example:

 Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)

 Experience with secondary students and the elderly

 Experienced with Eschool data system
