A. Content Standard The learner demonstrates understanding of basic concepts, underlying theories and principles in using farm tools and equipment
in horticulture.
B. Performance Standard The learner uses farm tools and equipment in horticulture bases on the required task.
C. Learning Competencies At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:
Perform preventive maintenance
1. Discuss procedures in cleaning tools and equipment in line with farm procedures immediately after use
2. Explain the steps in performing routine check-up and maintenance operations
3. Store tools and equipment in designated areas
4. Observe how to sharpen and oil farm tools and equipment
