The Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission is looking to fill the position of Electricity Ombudsman. Candidates must submit their application to the Secretary by June 10th, 2017. The ideal candidate will be over 50 years of age but under 62, have qualifications in electrical engineering along with experience in the electricity sector, and have experience in distribution utilities and knowledge of law. EMPLOYMENT NOTICE

Date: 12th May 2017

The Commission is looking for a suitable candidate for the post of Electricity
Ombudsman. The application should be sent to The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Electricity
Regulatory Commission, 19-A Rukmini L:akshmipathy Salai (Marshalls Road), Egmore,
Chennai 600 008. The last date for receipt of application is 10th June 2017.

Age Minimum Age 50 years. Candidates above the age of 62 will not
be considered

Pay Last pay drawn minus pension

Qualification Should be a person with ability, integrity, enjoying high reputation


and should have qualification in electrical engineering with
experience in electricity sector. Experience in various wings of
distribution utility and knowledge of law would be an additional
qualification.

Contract period Three years. Extendable by another three years subject to age
limit of 65 years. Serving or retired personnel may apply for the
post
