about enrique's journey that’s a book about a boy named enrique that is
trying to reunite with his mother.
diego: yes and he goes through a lot of dangerous things for example he had to jump
off the train to save his own life he got a lots of cuts and scars, he had blood all over
his body and his clothes were all ripped.
Alan: Today we will talk about if immigration is good or bad for migrants

diego: WHAT!!!! it's good for them??!!!!
diego: it is good because migrants can go and make more money for there family members
that are still in mexico, in the story enrique's journey he would not be able to help his family
if he hasn't gone to the united states and if he didn't go to to the united states he wouldn't of
ever seen his mom. He also went to u.s to get away from drugs ,marijuana and other
problems that he had in page 45 it says ‘’Drugs make his mouth sticky. He is always jumpy
and nervous. His eyes grow red. Sometimes they are glassy,half closed. Other times he looks
drunk.
Alan:i think Immigration is not good for migrants because he can get deported again and
again. Well, if I was him i would just stay in honduras because he goes through a lot of
trouble and gets hurt a lot. he can get scars and he can even probably bleed to death.and
other hurtful things.

think that it's good because the immigrant can get less addicted to drugs because there's a
lot of drug addicts and drug dealers in mexico. You have to sometimes leave your home
country to get rid of terrible addictions like for example drugs and marijuana.sometimes
Alan:another reasoning that it’s bad is because if they are hurt then most of the time the
smugglers don't help them and leave them in the ground dying and without help they can
not survive a long time in the desert and if family members that are waiting for them and
they never show up they will have to call the cops and tell them to search for the person and
most of the time they can come up alive or dead either way it is bad if they find the person
