ARTICLE X

THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR AUDIT

Section 1. There shall be a Vice President for Audit elected in the chapter. The Vice
President for Audit must be an incoming 4th year or 3rd year student at the time of the
election having earned at least 24 units for incoming 4th year and 18 units for incoming
3rd year in Accounting major subjects and a CGPA of 2.20 or better.

Section 2. The term of the office of the Vice President for Audit shall be co-terminus with
the term of office of the President.

Section 3. The Vice President for Audit shall have the following duties and functions:

a. To examine ,audit and settle in accordance with the Generally Accepted


Accounting Principles(GAAP),all Accounts pertaining to the collections and
receipts of expenditures or users of funds, owned or held in trust by the chapter.
The audit shall be done every semester.
b. To submit audit reports to the President.

ARTICLE XI

THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR COMMUNICATIONS

Section1. There shall be a Vice President for Communication elected in the chapter.
The Vice President for Communication must be an incoming 4th year and 3rd year at the
time of the election having earned at least 24 units for incoming 4th year and 18 units for
incoming 3rd year in Accounting major subjects and a CGPA of 2.20 or better.

Section 2. The term of the office of the Vice President for Communication shall be co-
terminus with the term of office of the President.

Section 3. The Vice President for Communication shall have the following duties and
functions:

a. To disseminate information regarding the activities of the Chapter.


b. To take care of the public and press functions of the Chapter.
ARTICLE XII

THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR OPERATIONS

Section1. There shall be a Vice President for Operations elected in the chapter. The
Vice President for Communication must be an incoming 4th year and 3rd year at the time
of the election having earned at least 24 units for incoming 4th year and 18 units for
incoming 3rd year in Accounting major subjects and a CGPA of 2.20 or better.

Section 2. The term of the office of the Vice President for Operations shall be co-
terminus with the term of office of the President.

Section 3. The Vice President for Operations shall have the following duties and
functions:

a. To coordinate all activities and projects of the Chapter and to see to it that all are
carried out properly.
b. To perform such other functions related to his position.

ARTICLE XIII

THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR MEDIA AND DOCUMENTATION

Section1. There shall be a Vice President for Media and Documentation elected in the
chapter. The Vice President for Communication must be an incoming 4th year and 3rd
year at the time of the election having earned at least 24 units for incoming 4th year and
18 units for incoming 3rd year in Accounting major subjects and a CGPA of 2.20 or
better.

Section 2. The term of the office of the Vice President for Media and Documentation
shall be co-terminus with the term of office of the President.

Section 3. The Vice President for Media and Documentation shall have the following
duties and functions:

a.To document all the activities conducted by the organization.

b.To perform such other functions related to media and documentation.


ARTICLE XIV

IMPEACHMENT

Section 1. Any officer may be recalled any time for the loss of confidence in him/her by
the organization.

Section 2. Any officer may be suspended or removed from office on any of the following
circumstances:

a. Negligence of his duties and responsibilities.


b. Failure to attend four(4) consecutive regular or special meeting and/or five (5)
non- consecutive regular or special meetings without satisfactory reason
presented for such absences.
c. Violation of any provision on the University Code.
d. Dishonest while performing his duties and responsibilities.
e. Misconduct and abuse of office.

Section 3.Any impeachment shall be made for good of the Chapetr and upon a vote of
not less than two-thirds(2/3) of all the officers present.

Section 4. The suspension period shall not exceed one(1) semester.

Section 5. Upon suspension, the powers, duties and responsibilities of the suspended
officer shall be extinguished. And upon the expiration of the suspension period, the
same shall take effect.

Section 6. The impeached officer shall be deprived to run for the next academic Year.

ARTICLE XV

ELECTIONS

Section 1. The election of the officers of the JPIA-PCC shall be done by direct vote of all
Accounting students of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy.

Section 2. The election shall be done on last week of the January.

Section 3. It shall be the duty of every member to participate in the election.

Section 4. There shall be a Commission On Election(COMELEC) to be created for


election purposes. The same Commission shall be composed of the President, Vice
President for Academic Affairs, Secretary-General , and Vice President for Finance.
ARTICLE XVI

MEETING

Section 1. The regular meetings of the officer of the Chapter shall be held on the first
(1st) and third(3rd) Saturday of every month at PCC.

Section 2. The President at his/her discretion may call special meetings of the Chapter
at a time convenient to all.

ARTICLE XVII

BOARD OF ADVISERS

Section 1. The Chapter shall have its Board of Advisers composed of the Dean of the
College of Business Administration and Accountancy, the chairman of the Accountancy
Department , and three(3) other Certified Public Accountants who are in the teaching
profession.

Section 2. The term of the office of the Board of Advisers shall be co-terminus with the
term of office of the President.

ARTICLE XVIII

AMENDMENTS

Section 1. No part of this Constitution shall be amended except the day and time of
regular meetings unless it has reached a minimum of one(1) year of implementation .
The Officers shall discuss any proposed amendment during their regular meetings.

Section 2. Proposals of amendments shall be made in writing and shall be submitted to


the President least a week before the regular meeting.

Section 3. The amendments shall be approved by at least two-thirds(2/3) vote of the


officers during regular meetings. Such amendment shall be valid s part of this
constitution upon approval.
ARTICLE XIX

TRANSITORY PROVISIONS

Section 1. This Constitution shall be deemed ratified and approved by a majority vote of
all the Officers.

Section 2. The provisions of this Constitution shall take effect immediately upon its
ratification.

Section 3. It shall be the duty of the Secretary- General to distribute copies of the
Constitution to the different members within its jurisdiction
