MTL4501-SR - MTL5501-SR: Fail-Safe Switch/Proximity-Detector Interface

The MTL4501-SR and MTL5501-SR provide fail-safe switch/proximity detector interfacing between a hazardous area and safe area. They accept input from intrinsically safe fail-safe sensors located in hazardous areas and provide an isolated fail-safe electronic output and relay contacts for line fault detection in the safe area. They are designed for use in applications requiring up to SIL3 safety integrity and can accommodate one sensor input channel.

With the MTLx501-SR, a fail-safe switch/proximity detector 3 9
