Description
Dr. Fixit Raincoat is an exterior acrylic elastomeric coating that offers waterproofing as well as aesthetics in a single
pack. It provides the complete solution to prevent dampness and seepages that spoil the expensive interiors and
decorative interior paints. It is highly user friendly and eco-friendly. The best part of the system is that, there is NO NEED
TO DILUTE IT WITH WATER for application. It accompanies a very easy-to-use, in-expensive, highly effective primer
Dr. Fixit Primeseal. It is easily brush or spray-applied. It gives a thickness of 110 microns, almost double of what other
commercial coatings have to offer by way of coating thickness. It is available in colours of choice that can be obtained
from two bases – white base & dark base that are easily tintable - to produce any desired shade. Dr. Fixit Raincoat has
a sheen and smoothness unparalleled to any other exterior paint. On exterior walls, Raincoat is recommended to be
applied right upto the parapet walls and over them till the inner side, till the edge of the roof / terrace waterproofing,
which will provide a complete waterproofing envelope to the exterior.
Areas of Application
}} All types of exterior masonry surfaces, concrete, cement sand renderings
}} Applicable on asbestos sheets.
Method of Application
1 S U R FAC E P R E PA R AT I O N
}} All new cement-sand renderings /concrete surfaces should be allowed to age 6 to 8 weeks before surface coating.
}} Surface for treatment must be thoroughly cleaned of all laitance, loose material, oil, grease by mechanical means
such as wire brushing & shot blasting .
}} Finally vacuum cleaning of all loose solids and liquids can be done, if required.
}} All surface cracks up to 5 mm width should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Crack-X Paste & up to 10 mm with Dr. Fixit Crack-X
Shrinkfree. Cracks more than 10 mm and all separation gaps should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP, SBR
modified mortar or as specified.
2 P R I M I N G
}} Prime the surface with Dr. Fixit Primeseal diluted with potable water by volume in 2:1 ratio (2 parts primer and 1 part
water) and allow it to dry for 2 to 3 hours
3 A P P L I C AT I O N
}} Apply two neat coats of Dr. Fixit Raincoat without dilution by brush or roller at a time interval of 5-6 hours.
}} For enhanced protection, apply additional coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat on rain lashing walls, chajjas and parapet walls.
}} Allow the coated surface to air cure fully for 7 days.
}} Do not apply on putty applied or very smooth surfaces for the risk of de-bonding.

SHELF LIFE & STORAGE 18 months from date of manufacturing in unopened condition in cool and dry place.
