Ali’i   1    ​$250  Monitor and maintain needs of B4 community. Address issues with community as needed.
Adapt and make changes to B4 agreements or routines as needed. Manage kuleana jobs.
Help select Leader of the Pack. Offer bonuses to productive citizens. Plan special events
for B4 community. Oversee/give fines as needed. ​Work with the Teacher, Police Officers
and other kuleana as needed.VOTE/SPEECH required!

Police Officer   1-2    $200  Keep members of B4 community accountable for daily work. Provide friendly reminders to
peers. Assist peers with problems. Track and monitor penalties. Give bonuses/ fines to
community members as needed.​Work with the Teacher, Ali’i, and other kuleana as needed.
Letter of recommendation required.

Alaka’i Leader   1-2    $200  Facilitate morning meeting and closing. Assist peers during meetings. Provide friendly
reminders to peers as needed. Lead other group activities as needed. May include games,
‘oli, etc. ​Work with the Teacher and Teacher Assistants.​ ​ Letter of recommendation
required.

Teacher Assistant   2-4    $150  Assist teacher with various tasks that can include passing out papers, checking homework,
  assisting peers with directions, etc. Maintain classroom supplies and organize materials.
(Work with Alaka’i, Custodians, and Police Officers)

Blogger  1-2    $150  Blogs and takes pictures about the daily, weekly, and/or monthly school and classroom
activities and events. Promotes school and classroom activities and events. Monitors
Google classroom, class website, and social media. ​Work with the Teacher and, Ali’i

Line Leader   1-2    $100  Lead and monitor the line when walking on or off campus. Close doors, check lights, and
  change door sign as needed. Use attention getters to help lead. Provide friendly reminders
to peers. ​Work with Police Officers, Lunch and Recess Monitors, and Custodian

Custodian   1-2    $100  Manage classroom cleanliness and organization. Open and close windows at the beginning
and end of day. Regularly inspect desks and cubbies according to schedule. ​Work with
Teacher Assistants, Horticulture Specialist, and Police Officers.

Lunch Monitor   2    $100  Monitor and maintain B4 cafeteria tables. Assist with safety during lunch. May assist with
problems during lunch. ​Works with Wai’alae School Teachers, Custodians, and Police
Officers
Technology  1-2    $100  Manage technology in the classroom and assist in maintenance and care. Set-up and
Coordinator   breakdown tech. equipment as needed. Charge tech. equipment. Monitors use of
technology and digital citizenship.
Work with Teacher Assistants and B4 Bloggers.

Green Team   1-2    $75  Take care and water plants in the classroom and garden beds. Maintain regular
  maintenance schedule. Monitor use of class resources. Promote and monitor recycling
efforts.
Work with Custodians.

Librarian  1-2    $75  Manage and monitor school and classroom library books. Assist in maintaining and
  organizing B4/B5 library. Provide reminders to peers. Maintain book check out records.
Work with Police Officers and Teacher Assistants

Post-Master   1    $75  Get Wai’alae mail from office every Wednesday. Manage and deliver mail. Provide friendly
reminders to peers as needed. ​Work with Teacher Assistants.

Banker   1-2    $75  Manage B4 bank accounts. Track deposits and withdrawals. Open bank according to
  scheduled hours.
  Assist peers with record keeping. ​Work with Store Clerks, Teacher Assistants, and Police
Officers

Store Clerk   1-2    $75  Manage B4 store, keep inventory, and track purchases.Open store according to scheduled
hours. Assist peers with record keeping. ​Work with Bankers

Student Council  2-3    $50  Represents, advocates, and shares B4 community needs and interests. Report out school
Representative  events/ activities. ​Work with Ali’i, Alaka’i, and the Teacher.

Contractor/    Varies per  Complete requested contract job as needed. Contract jobs will vary. ​Work with the
Substitute  job  Teacher.
