9th CONVOCATION – 2019


DATE: 19th August, 2019
Step by Step Instructions for Degree Recipients of 9th Convocation
1. Candidate must check his/her name in the “List of Degree Recipients” provided at
http”//www.rtu.ac.in/RTU/convocation. Candidates, whose name is NOT in the list, shall
receive the degree at their respective institute.
2. Candidates whose name is there in the “List of degree recipient” & willing to attend the 9 th
Convocation are required to fill the On-line registration form and Rs. 500/- as registration fees
on the link –

(Please note the link to the registration will not be active beyond last dead line)

3. Last date for submission of On-line registration form and Consent Form is 11.30 p.m., 13th
August, 2019.
4. Only those candidates, who have submitted the On-line registration form before the due date
are allowed to report at Registration Desk, UIT Auditorium, Shrinathpuram-A, Opposite Govt.
Medical College, Kota on 18th August, 2019 at 01.30 p.m. for reporting & rehearsal.
5. Candidates, who fail to attend the rehearsal on 18th August, 2019 will NOT be permitted to
attend the Main Convocation ceremony on 19th August, 2019.
6. Detailed Instructions for main convocation ceremony on 19th August, 2019 will be given at
rehearsal only. Venue for Convocation ceremony is UIT Auditorium, Shrinathpuram-A,
Opposite Govt. Medical College, Kota. A student may be accompanied by maximum two
persons (preferably parents/spouse/close relatives of degree recipient) along with him/her in
the Convocation Ceremony Hall. Please note that no children are allowed in Convocation
Ceremony.
7. Kindly note that only invited candidates are required to fill On-line registration form The
University is not liable to refund/return registration fee of candidates whose names are not in
the list.
8. Limited accommodation (only for girl candidates) is available in the University premises. All
the remaining candidates have to make their own stay arrangements for attending the
Convocation.
9. The dress code for the Main Convocation for the candidates is as under:
a. Boys/Gents : White color : Kurta-Payjama/white pant shirt with black juti/shoes.
b. Girls/Ladies: White color saree with blue color border and blue color blouse / white
color suit with White chunni / dupatta with black Juti/sandle.
10. One person (parents/spouse/close relatives of degree recipient) is allowed to accompany the
candidate in the Convocation Hall, Please note that no children are allowed in the Convocation
Hall.
11. Students are required to bring printout of Registration form with fees receipt.
