Tailor made question and answers:
Tell me about yourself?
"I have been in the investment industry for the past 10 years. My most recent experience has been
handling operations in investment industry. One reason I particularly enjoy this Investment operation,
and the challenges that go along with it, is the opportunity to manage processes like mutual fund service
to investor, depository operations for issuer interface and employee stock options related operations,
fund accounting teams and clients. In current job, I formed some significant client relationships resulting
in an increase in fund accounting operational improvements in a matter of months."
In my current job I worked on service to the clients who are from international fund management firms
and helped them in their requirements and changes required in overall operations.
"My real strength is my attention to detail. I pride myself on my reputation for following through and
meeting deadlines. When I commit to doing something, I make sure it gets done, and on time."
"What I am looking for now is a company that values client relations, where I can join a strong team and
have a positive impact on client retention and efficient operations."
What are your strengths?
“I have excellent interpersonal skills and excel in dealing with clients. In my last job, a client was very
unhappy when a delivery of a sample product was not made on time, which meant that the customer
lost out credibility. I went out of my way to listen to the customer's concerns, and ensured that I
understood everything that was wrong. I then presented a solution by calling other clients to see if they
had any spare samples, which I volunteered to deliver to the customer the following day."
3. "I’ve always considered myself to have a very strong work ethics. I am committed to doing whatever it
takes to meet deadlines. As part of a work placement I was working with a customer who had my team
on a strict deadline. For reasons beyond my control, there was some delay from client due to board
meeting in the delivery of crucial documents for corporate actions, which didn’t get to us until late on the
afternoon before the deadline. Rather than go home, I volunteered to stay late and finish everything,
ensuring that the deadline was met, and that the work was of a very good standard.”
What are your weaknesses?
There are skills which I am working on are expecting too much from others and planning goals. I am
developing the understanding the circumstances and factors affecting on it. Now I am working on
planning goals and breaking into small tasks to complete it
My collogues say that I am very much details oriented with bothers them but not my boss.
"There are times when I’m too blunt and honest and might
seem aloof. I tend to say the first thing that comes to my mind
without thinking about what I’m saying first. When I’m dealing
with other people this can come across as cold and even a
little mean which isn’t my intention at all. Once I realized I was
doing this it was a matter of slowing down and thinking before
I say something to someone…especially when I’m giving
people feedback. I’m actively working on making sure that my
criticisms are constructive and that I’m leaving people with
solutions and options rather than just shutting them down"
