THE PRESENTATION OF THE TRAINING: .
The educational practice allows trainers to do the job of teachers as it gives them the
opportunity to exert some pedagogical practices with other learners. It is an important
experience that prepares researchers to become future teachers and involve them in the
professional domain. This is partially done by applying what they have studied in didactic.
THE DEFFINITION OF THE TRAINING:
An educational Training is both a choice and chance. It not only shows the motivation
and interest of some students in teaching and acquiring pedagogical skills, but it
also confronts the trainer with a real situation at the classroom.
“This motivation is essential for the follow experience in this training project, the
manageable steps lead the trainees to words their goal” (2007.p.136).
Training is based on practical applications that offer trainees the chance to employ
their teaching skills and abilities.“Training in something/in doing something, the
process of learning the skills that you need to do a
job”(www.oxford,larbre,dictionnaires.com). Educational training is an act that aims on
acquiring knowledge, information, and strategies on how can to become a competent
teacher:
“Training is generally defined as the part of vocational education that provides the specialized
professional knowledge and skills which attribute professional adequancy to the trainees,it is also can be seen an
activity or a set of activities designed in order to transmit theoretical knowledge and professional skills that are
required for certain type of jobs.(kotsikis,2007).(international journal of humanities and social science Vol.2
No,24special issue-dec 2012).
Accordingly, Training is considered as the final path of the student’s study and as a the
first step towards teaching :
“I ones had the honor of delivering an inspirational speech to a large group of graduate students and
their proffessors at my alma mater.they were about to begin their student teaching training period, it is on of the
final steps in becoming a state certified teacher”.
from(an inspirational exploration of connections and meaning,2006by vinant j-solimineJr.printed inUS.p.29).
The aims of the training:
What is need for training!
In fact the aim or the objectives of the training differ according to several level of
communities and organization. For the case of a middle school’s training, the purposes of the
activities involve both pedagogical and didactic aspects. Indeed, such training give the
opportunity to observe and analyze the different relations between the teachers and the
learners as well as between the teachers and the administration. Furthermore, observing the
direct presentations of the courses with its real circumstances give the learners the opportunity
to get ready and acquire good pedagogical habit .
Indeed, the training helps future teachers to acquire knowledge and skills that are necessary
for the job efficiently and effectively by preparing and presenting the lessons in addition to
preparing pedagogical files, adequate activities, and manage to know the best use and
management of time and materials available.
For the evaluation and assessment part, training provides a chance for trainees to get familiar
with the general task. Indeed, it gives the opportunity for the researcher to link the theoretical
knowledge he has acquired in his courses with the application of those materials in a real
environment.
Training has also a lot of benefits for the trainees among them:
It allows the trainer to acquire teaching capacities and to theories.
It helps the trainer to learn from other teachers experiences and to be guided in order
to improve the teaching level.
It Gives the trainer the chance to interact with students and find solutions to the real
problems.
Improves the trainer’s knowledge about teaching, his attitude concerning the
interaction and to develop his skills.
It promotes his sense of responsibility towards students where the trainees help the
students to enhance their abilities.
It gives the trainees a clear idea about how the lessons are planned (worming up,
prereading, whilereadingand post reading)
It also provides them the information about all the procedures of the period of the
exams and the attending of the official meetings.
It gives the trainees the chance to observe how students learn and what problems they
face during the lessons. This will be a preliminarily step to find the most appropriate
ways of teaching
It gives the opportunity for the trainees to enhance what they have completed to a
highest level of secondary education.
3-Training Location:
The English department of university Mhammed Bouguara gave us the chance to perform our
educational training in the high school of Corso in Boumerdes.
Ahmidi Ibrahim was our secondry school where we did our training. It was constructed in
01/09/2008,its pattern 100/10000 and the type of building is solid, its extent is of 2737,92m².
This institution opens at 8.00 am and closes at 4.PM.it has a very helpful educational system
for the students who live far away from their houses which is the half-board system. Ahmidi
Ibrahim high school is headed by the director Twahri Boudjmaa who was designed in that
high school in 28/08/2018. it contains 567students(195male and 370 female)they are devided
according to their branches .
The table bellow shows the census of pupils in that high school:
FIRST YEAR

From the point of view of the attribution of the succeeded students and the those who did not
get the marks in 2019, the administration of ahmidi Ibrahim has implemented a general
count for its students results which are summarized in the following table:
The students level The succeded students The failer students
1st year students 236 35
2nd year students 191 12
3rd year students 140 18
In regards to the census of pupils in 2019, according to the statistics we have noticed that the
number of the failing students is not exaggerated in comparison to the number of the students
in the institution. This is dues to the capacities and efforts of students, as well as to the big
role of the teachers and their corporation .
Ahmidi Ibrahim high school contains many rooms and companions in addition to the
administration and the employees. They are classified as follow:

4-The training duration:
Our training has lasted for 15 days, from the 5th to the 15th of may 2019. It was divided into
two phases: the observation phase, and the practical phase. It has been planned to do different
practices. But because of the delay of the call latter, we could not finish complete all of the
involved activities. Nevertheless, we had the chance to exercise more on the practical phase,
which is accordingly a very important step in acquiring teaching skills.
4-1:The observation phase:
It was a very important source of information. All what is about is : the teaching theories,
how to express new applications, and how is the relationship between teachers and students,
the classrooms atmosphere ,the way the teachers prepare pedagogical documents and the
procedure used to correct the exams papers .it has to do with all what is happening in the
classroom both dealing and teaching.
As a trainees we have obliged ourselves to take in consideration each step : expression used
by the teachers in classroom, their method during presentation of the lessons in order to
have an idea about what teaching does mean and how we do it. In case they cannot
understand the exact meaning and asking questions,as we noticed when we have visited
some classroom the teachers where used a simple and easy method which is clear for all
students level and they have used deffirent strategies to solve such broblems also we
have observed the way they dealing with them.in adittion to the didactic observation we
have also learn much about the pedagogical activities and meetings.
4-2:The practical :
During the practical period we didn’t have enough time to continue all the activities because
of the delay of the call latter. It was divided into two periods; the first one was from 16th to 23
may, which represents the exam period and the second was from 24 to 30 may which was the
exam’s correction and evaluation.
5-The groups:
We were not able to do and finish our training without the corporation of our supervisor who
was our guide through this educational experience where we had the chance also to deal with
another teacher where we learned so many things in teaching branch.

The pedagogical meeting
1-first interchip:
When we got the call latter from our department of Mhammed Bouguara; we directly resorted
to our high school Ahmidi Ibrahim. At the beginning, we went to the administration where we
found the administratives. They welcomed us and gave us the opportunity to have an interchip
with the director. after that, we began to be more responsible and respectable as official
teachers .we also went to the director’s office” Touahriboudjmaa” ,he warmly welcomed us
with happy face and very nice words. He made us feel proud and he gave us self confidence
in order to do an official meeting with him. After that we gave him our call latter which
contains all our information concerning the training.
Fortunality we have not faced any problem with him. We have discussed and talked in real
cultive way he just asked us whether we were able to work in a short and limited time but the
fact that we were so exited it makes our reaction so positive ,we have said “when there is a
will, there is a way “then he has told us about the working conditions and he eventually has
putted his signature on each paper which allowed us to enter that high school. In addition to
that worm welcome, we received a warm welcome and kindness from teachers, especially the
English teachers, they allowed us to comfortably do their jobs.
-the supervisor:
Fortunately we had the chance to work with a serious and generous teacher during our
training .Miss khelfi was our supervisor. She has studied in Bouzeriaa super university for 03
years where she graduated there on 02/06/2007. After a year, she started working in Ahmidi
Ibrahim high school until01/05/2016 where she became an official teacher in that high school.
Miss khelfi was working seriously with all her students in classroom, even with her friends.
She was so kind in teacher room that’s why we choose her. She was holding a big
responsibility which became bigger when we choose her to headed us during our educational
mission. She did her best to teach us and to convince us that teaching is never easy and it will
naver be.
Actually her good attitude make her the ideal example to be followed that’s why we are so
proud of her and we really pleased by her corporation.

3-classe visited:
Through both phases, we have visited 04 classes with different levels. 02classes were related
to the scientific 1st year and one class is the arts and philosophy 2ndyear. The other classes
were the mathematics 3rd year.
We were not supposed to attend only with miss khelfi but we have worked also with another
teacher miss Ben Saadi. both miss khelfi and miss bensaadi’s classes were well organized and
very clean(tables, chairs and ground). Besides to the atmosphere of that classes, we have
noticed that the relationship between the teachers and the learners was a social relationship,
i.e:teacher behave in a polite and respectful way with the students in a familiar and intimate
way . They had never shout or punished their students that’s what make the learners respect
them and do their homework without any violence. Some of them were a little bit turbulent
and have bad behaves, but it was never a problem to the others inand never influence on
that harmony in the classroom because the teachers had the right strategies and ways in
both dealing and teaching to keep that high level and good soul for all the studentsWe have
noticed that miss khelfi and miss ben saadi have worked almost with the same strategies
concerning the presentation of the lessons, both of them used simple methods and asked clear
questions.
The first class we have visited was the scientific 1st year with miss ben saadiit. It contained
33 students and 03 of them were absent, they were very practical and active in answering the
questions and participation during the course especially 02 of them who inspired me and
made me more attentive with the teacher because they were excellent students . They have
followed the teacher and took notes in each given information, they have participated with
miss ben saadi and corrected to her some mistakes on the board. That’s what makes them the
excellent students in that classe, we have discussed the topic of telecommunication.
The next session was with our supervisor miss khelfi with the technical mathematics 3rd year
class. This classroom involved 21 students. It was also another useful session where we have
learned much about how to teach and how to be a number of your students not just be a
teacher ,her techniques and strategies were very simple and clear for all students level, the
treated topic was a grammatical topic the passive and the active voice. there was a movement
and big participation by those students as much as the previous classroom and as we noticed
that all their markes very good and exellant ,the secret behind that success was sources from
her right way of teaching and her helpful advices and instruction among them:
Each one should respect his/her classmate into and outside classroom to build strong
social relations.
To participate in the classroom even if the answer is wrong.
To give the flour to the shy learners in order to involve in classroom.
To do the activities and homework in order to improve their written skills.
The 02 lasted classes also were with miss khelfithe arts and philosophy 2nd year. She
did a revision by gathering the 02 classes together and asked them to do a dialogue
with different topics by the help of the radio in order to improve their oral and
pronunciation skills.
In fact both misseskhelfi and bensaadi were not using the same approach in teaching
whereas, when dealing with their students in daily lessons, they were serious and strict.
4-teacher approaches:
Concerning the teachers method ,there was so many methods to be used by the teachers ,miss
khelfi and miss ben saadi’s method was deffirent. As I noticed miss ben saadi has used the
GTM method which is a traditional method used to teach Greek and Latin for countries it is
based on memorization of tasks of language not using language to be correct, but to speak in
grammatical fashion ex(a verb(s)with she/he).This method focuses on the written language
and not oral. It also encourages the students and make their grammar knowledge correct and
easy.
Miss bensaadi before she did a prereading to the text she gave them a lot of
information and definitions about that subject then she start her lesson .
However our supervisor misskhelfi has chosen another method of work which is the direct
method. It is also called the natural method. it expended in 19th c and was as far as back as
Greek Roman time. it was used in classes /schools and teach greaklatin in families. direct
method started with religious songs and chapters from the bible. it was emphazing on correct
pronunciation. The lessons and rules used by miss khelfi were done in direct and simple way
because she has followed some essentials of that method among them:
No translation.
Student is self correction, where as the teacher is just a guider.
Oral training: to do questions and answers exercises where the teacher asks questions
of any type and student answer to master their knowledge.
Conversations practices to develop oral skills and the pronunciation through the
dialogue between the classmates.
Reading aloud: the student taken turn reading sections of a passage play or dialogue
aloud.
Paraghraph writing:the learners are asked to write a passage in their own words.
Inductive approach to grammair:teacher give the examples and the learner has to put
the rule .
The use of demonstration, geastures and images to which the term refers .
Miss khelfi has aimed to help her students to make them the excellent students among all the
classrooms and the best model in values and behaviors. She has worked with that method
because she was sure that the learner will learn this language In a natural and simple way as
he learned his native language. We have followed miss khelfi during her course and took
notes in each step she explained and all the strategies she used to do her course .fiest of all,
she paved for the topic in the sense that she has given the students a given context where the
topic is hidden then she gradually moved to the main point after that she asked them to read
the passage for 02 or 03 times and she has told them what they know about the topic and
wethere they have additional or pre information. Some of her students gave her different
definitions about the topic and others could not answer the question after a few minutes of
discussion the idea together they heard an audio which was a dialogue between two person
after that they practiced on that dialogue two by two then they did some activities related to
the text after that she gave them 02 examples and she has tried to exmplain it in clear way
than she has asked the learners to put the rule and do an activities by themselves according to
what they understand from the model .there was so many mistakes done by the learners but
miss khelfi has gave them seconde chance to correct their mistaks because she was just a
guider she has gave them only the general idea and provide them with the instruction.
