1. Ask me a question

The task is to find out some information about the person. Students need to read, understand and
make up a nice question on their own.
2. Opposites dictation

for.html

Students have to write down the opposite of what you dictate. It is up to them what they write, as
long as the sentences are grammatically correct. For example, you say:

'There was a young woman.'

The students write:

'There was an old woman.'

'There was a young man.'

'There is a young woman.'

3. Close Your Eyes

Source: https://eslkidsgames.com/2017/11/esl-game-close-your-eyes.html

First, choose a student and tell the student, “Look at ______. (another student in class)”
Allow the student to examine the person or maybe an object in class for about five seconds. Then,
direct the student to “close (their) eyes!”
After the student have closed their eyes, ask him/her question about the person or object they
examined before they closed their eyes. Ask the student a question. For example, What colour is
John’s shirt? The student for example may respond ‘John’s shirt is green.’
If the student gives an incorrect answer, then another student tries. Award points for correct
answers.

4. Slips of paper

slips-paper

Select the vocabulary you want to revise and write each word or expression on individual slips of
paper. When you're ready to begin, pick one of the words and call out a definition, synonym,
antonym, etc. The first student to guess the word gets the slip of paper. The winner is the student
who has the most slips at the end of the activity. You might also want to write a point value on the
back of the slip of paper, of 'one', 'two' or 'three' based on the difficulty of the word or expression.
