INTRODUCTION

Our research focuses on what are the thoughts of the Filipinos on public
transportation. Our research also wants to know if this trail transit helps the Filipinos in their
daily life. The researchers have four examples that are commonly use in public transportation the
Grab , LRT, MRT, bus, jeep and the new Hybrid Electric Road Train (HERT) of DOST.

Grab formerly known as MyTeksi and GrabTaxi is a transportation network

company based in Singapore. Unlike other transportation Grab will drop you on your exact
drop location.

The hybrid train is powered thru sunlight. This train comes from one of the project
of DOST (Department Of Science and Technology). This train helps the people who wants to go
to south specifically in Laguna part. The route of this trail is Alabang-Laguna.

The MRT(Metro Rail Transit) and LRT(Light Rail Transit) is powered by electricity.
The route of this rail train is in metro manila. This also helps the people to travelled fast. The
difference between this two is just their route it just that the LRT is smaller in length and slower
than the MRT.

The Jeep is the most popular when it comes to public transportation. Anywhere in
the Philippines you can see jeeps. Most jeepneys are used as public utility vehicles.

Bus is one of the popular public transportation in the Philippines. There are two types
of buses in the Philippines the air-con type and the non air-con.

In our country transportation is one of our biggest problem. Us a student researcher we

want to improved it so in the future the problem that we experienced today we will not feel it
tomorrow.
