Greetings of Peace!

Having spread from its roots as a small counter-culture activity, skateboarding has now
permeated society leaving a surprisingly large footprint on the global culture. Skateboarding is
not only a means of travel or even just a sport, it values creativity, risk and freedom and has
fostered a profound, all-consuming effect on people from all walks of life.

This culture, despite a limited amount of support from the local community, has nonetheless
grown and found its way upward, and has started to organize events from a local to an
international plane. Such progress will never be possible without the unwavering support of
some individuals and authorities to whom we are forever deeply indebted.

It is in this light that I humbly bring to your good office the invitation that I, Kevin Paul A’Jose,
received from the Palawan Skateboarding Association (PSA), in collaboration with Palawan
Longboarding Association (PLA) and Puerto Princesa BMX Riders (PPCBMX). They have
given me an opportunity to represent the Municipality of Balagtas and compete in the 2nd
SUBARAW INVITATIONAL EXTREME SPORTS COMPETITION. As said event will be
held at the People's Amphitheatre, Mendoza Park, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on November 6
– 8, 2019, I am humbly seeking for your support and assistance, in cash or in kind, particularly
for the necessary transportation and accommodation.

With this, I would like to express in advance my utmost gratitude to you and your good office.
Any support will, rest assured, be appreciated by our community and by the whole skateboarding
scene. I promise to give my best and bring honor to the whole province of Bulacan.
