MY BURNING AMBITION

Many people have different ambitions in life,so the word ambition has many different
meanings depending on whom you ask. Nobody wants to be nobody,Everybody wants to
be somebody. I am no exception,there is no one who does not have an ambition. To me
ambition is a burning desire to achieve goals to succeed in life. My parents help me realize
my ambition that I have a definite goal for my future.
So,what ambitions do I have? I always wanted to be a popular singer/performer and at
the same time pursuing my love to teach children and youth. It is very challenging for me
to have these kinds of ambitions because it requires me to be excellent,to workhard and
to be persistent despite of facing my battles in life.
I want to become a teacher,a professional and licensed teacher. I would like to give back
to my family and even to my community specifically the youth,the education that has been
submitted upon me. There’s a lot of other professions that I could choose to that has a
great salary and opportunities but I admit that I am not perfectly fit to those professions
or jobs. I love teaching that’s why I love this profession not only that I love it also for its
magnificence. As a future educator,I would guide and help the students to become the
good citizen of our country,I want to teach in such a way that the student can able to
follow and pursue their dreams.
Being a teacher,it requires responsibility and service because it is not just to earn money
but a full of responsibility and being ready to the service for the people. Teachers are the
people who give enlightenment,who give hope and to give love to other people. Someday
I wanna be that kind of teacher who will act as a ladder to my students which remains at
the same place but helping them to elevate.
I wanna be a teacher who will be the lightest light for the students to broadcast the light
that shows the genuine path of the students or youth who are finding their way in a core
of darkness. That’s what I wanted to be as an educator. Aside from wishing to be an
educator someday,i have another ambition that is super exciting to say and
simultaneously having eagerness on it, it is to be a popular singer/performer, based on
my experiences I currently do guestings,joining competitions because that’s what the
performers would do to earn money for my family especially to my mom but there’s always
a more but.
Performing/Singing aren’t easy, this could be your thinking right now that if you can sing,if
you can perform in front of your audience, you may think that is too simple but a big NO
for that, I experienced being exhaustiveness and at the same time I have insecurities as
well that I almost want to give up. There was some instances that I was absolutely afraid
to join competitions because I don’t even know the ability that the other singers has that
was different from mine but truly that everything could be possible if you will just only to
believe in yourself wholeheartedly, everything can change,everything can turn
achievable.
As I lift my head up and open my mouth,my voice escalates with different tune,different
experiences,different dreams and different ambitions that comes out. The peaceful
ambitions bounce off of my tongue and release the tension,problems,battles that held
within even if the sounds or a situation in life aren’t perfect or correct,every little bit or by
step by step procedure helps me get through the day, and that helps me to be persistent
everyday. My ambitions helps me get through life. These what my ambitions are, hope
you’ll get a lesson.
