EPIC Charter Schools Launch Statewide Journalism Program: Clip Resized 56%

EPIC Charter Schools launches statewide journalism program called EPIC News Network (ENN). ENN will be led by two veteran Oklahoma journalists, M. Scott Carter and Phil Cross, who will teach journalism skills to EPIC high school students statewide. Students will report on events in their communities and cover state leaders and issues. The goal is for students to gain real-world journalism experience. Welch Public Schools starts its own virtual education program to offer extracurricular activities to local home-schooled students and stem enrollment losses to EPIC Charter Schools.
