EPIC Charter School has an-
nounced that 438 EPIC students from
across the state will be inducted into
the National Honor Society (NHS)
and National Junior Honor Society
(NJHS).
The awards will be presented in
formal ceremonies at Rose State
College in Midwest City and at Oral
Roberts University on May 7 and May
14, respectively.
Among those to be inducted into
NHS is Tyler Weaver of Comanche.

academic, social, civic and ethical

The NHS was founded in 1921,
while NJHS was founded in 1929.

core values. It is estimated that ap-
proximately 1 million students take
part in Honor Society activities. NHS
and NJHS are located in all 50 states,
the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico,
other U.S. territories and Canada.
Each EPIC NHS inductee receives
DFHUWLÀFDWHDPHPEHUVKLSSLQDQG
the right to wear the traditional white
NHS hood as part of their graduation
ceremony regalia.
