Final Fantasy: Tactics cheats

Secret Characters
Complete the game once to be able to unlock all the secret characters except Ezel.
Babus:
Successfully complete the Left Behind mission before entering a town and clear the With
Babus mission

Shara:
Successfully complete the A Maiden's Cry mission before entering a town

Ritz:
Successfully complete the Mortal Snow mission

Cid:
Successfully complete all 300 numbered missions

Ezel:
Select Gossip in the Card Shop then successfully clear the Reconciliation mission

Unlock the following characters by having different mission items. It is not guaranteed that
these characters will join your clan.

Pallanza:
Successfully complete a mission with Wyrmstone as a mission item

Eldena:
Successfully complete a mission with Elda's Cup as a mission item

Lini:
Successfully complete a mission with The Hero Gaol as a mission item

Cheney:
Successfully complete a mission with Snake Shield as a mission item
Quin:
Successfully complete the 'Missing Professor' mission

Littlevili:
Complete the 'Clan League' mission

Unlock end of game credits:

Beat the 300 standard missions and the extra Judge missions

Easy Double Sword & Ultima

At a certain point in the game, you can find two certain dispatch missions: Metal Hunt and
Materite.

Metal Hunt takes 15 days and gives you around 4000g, Adamantite, and a random item.
Materite takes 10 days and gives you about the same gill, Materite, and a random item.

You can repeat these missions after a few moons and should do them whenever available,
because almost every time you do one, your smithing level will rise. When it gets to 15, you
get the Nosada, a katana that teaches Ninjas Double Sword!

At Lv.50, you get the Zanmato, another katana that teaches Assassins Ultima Masher!!!
There are other missions like this also that raise a certain level.

I personally love this game and have always been fan of people teling me what works best
for clans. Me I go with

Get marche and make him a ninja then learn double sword, then swtich him to paladin and
make him learn holy blade.

Get montblanc and make him a time mage then teach him quicken

Get viera and make them and assasin (althought this takes time it's totally worth it) then
once they are an assassin make them learn last breath.. This way

When your viera moves first, you can almost instantly kill someone it's 50% change
immediat KO from the front on a normall AI and 60% from the side nd 70% from the back.
Now this is good odds hah.
Then when marche moves next. If he is strong(which he should be) yo can either fight, or
use holy blade and kill someone instantly
And now montblanc moves and you use quicken on either your viera or marche witch will
then result in one more dead enemy
Obviously they move.. An they should only have 2-3 people left so this shouldnt take long
and thn repeat those steps

This method has helped me beat the game several times and is VERY effective

OK, I WANNA SAY ONE THING FIRST!
Yesterday, I read someone that posted that you should make Lini, the mog knight wich you
get from doing a quest with "The Hero Goal" item, BUT, He said that she was one of the
best persons in the game to kill the Li-Grim, he said: To beat the Li-Grim easy get Lini to
25+ and get a lot of good stuff on her, she can do major damage to the li-grim because that
she has one of the ultima skills... (And now I'm clearing this up)

DO NOT BELIVE THAT, THAT IS A SIMPLE WORD CALLED BOGUS!

Using Ultima Attacks wheter it's, Ultima Masher, Ultima Blade, Ultima Shot or WHATEVER,
That will not damage the Li-Grim, it WILL at any cost HEAL the li-grim, if you don't belive
me, you can just go ahead and check for yourself, Ultima attacks do NOT work on the li-
grim, and now back to the helping thing about Marche I was going to say.

1st of all, get Marche the Double Sword Support Skill wich can be obtained by becoming a
Ninja(Learning 2Thief skills) And equip the Nosada wich ou get from getting your smiting lvl
to 15(Just do materite and adamantite quests)

Then get the double sword support skill, then swich Marche's class to archer, master 2
skills, go hunter and get the "bow that teaches hunters Ultima Shot" I forgot the name sorry,
well anyways-

Master that skill, then, go and become a Paladin, and keep the Hunter shortcut skill to your
2nd action command so you can still use hunter skills, then become a paladin(Master
2Soldier Skills)

And equip him with excalibur & excalibur2 wich can be obtained by doing a certain quest.

As for the reason to become a paladin is because the excalibur alone doesn't to much
damage, BUT, with excalibur 2, the damage double's!

If, for excample you were to equip excalibur and another weapon wich has the same attack
as excalibur2, lets just say 400 =/ But, if you equip the excalibur and excalibur2, the
damage DOUBLE'S, because it's the same blade or whatever and it's the blade that
paladins are supposed to use, so the damage doesn't become 400 now wich it would be if
you used another regular weapon with the same attack as excalibur2, it becomes 800!!!
DOUBLE DAMAGE!

And of course, using the Ultima Shot with these to blade'sm I am lvl 56 atm and I have done
all the quests, this isn't a bragging thing or whatever you think I'm trying to do, it's just
helping to new ppl that wants Marche to do AMAZING attacks(HOWEVER) this hint does
not concern if you are fighting the li-grim nor another holy creature, instead of destroying it,
it will clearly make it to YOUR DISADVANTAGE, When I fight Llednar I normally do
1200damage to him alone with the excalibur's and the ultima shot, I'm not even going to
dare to tell you how much damage I do when I use combo's C.c

How to get holy blade early
First, make sure you have steal ability, then free both sprohm and cyril from clan bonzoi,
then there will be a mission at the pub which asks you to kill ppl called ravens, then when
doing the mission, steal the ability from the paladin as he has holyblade and other skills. If
you can, steal his items too as it is gd for the early game

Secret Unstoppable Weapons

I have a guy who cannot be beat! I took Cheney, the Hunter you get with Ultima Shot, and
turned him into a ninja, mastered Double Sword, turned him into a fighter, and equipped him
with a Temple Cloth, Headband, Fairy Shoes, Bone Armlets, Ebon Blade, and Adaman
Blade. He's level 36, with a 527 attack power, and a 420 defense!!! Also, his react ability is
strikeback, so he can't be damaged greatly by other 1-panel weapon. I've been able to beat
other clans, even Bloodthirsters, with just Cheney! I also have a Bangaa warrior with an
attack of 497, and can deal 437 damage on a toaded enemy. His weapon is the Estreledge,
and is equipped with materia armor, acacia hat, ninja tabi, and genji armlets. I've done 437
damage to a level 41 enemy, and he's only level 30! If you want to win quick and easy, go
with this guide.

Ok make marche a fighter with white magic as backup ability,make montblanc a gunner with
call backup ability,make youre spare human a ninja with fighter backup ability,make your nu
mou a white mage, make your viera a fencer with sharpshoot backup ability.

MAJOR DAMAGE!!!
Ok here is how I'm rich with damage
1. ( I'm assuming you no how 2 make ninjas ) get 4 soldiers, make them into theifs and then
ninjas... Teach them all double sword and combat combo
2. For the other 2 get 2 moogles and make them gunners and teach them combat combo
3. Make the battle field look like this ( ignore the – ‘ s )
1 = ninja, 2 = gunner, 3 = enemy

---------------------------2---131---2--------------------------------
---------------------------------1-------------------------------------
Then get one of the ninjas to do combat combo and the 2 gunners and the 3 other ninjas
should start flashing ( this means they will attack in the combo ) so do the combo and the
ninjas will come in and double attack and the gunners will shoot at the guy and then the
ninja who is doing the combo will do the koolest one
*NOTE* IM A LEVEL 36 CLAN AND I DID OVER 1000 DAMAGE!!!!!

The Zeus Mace

The Zeus Mace is a hard item to obtain that gives a Sage the Ultima Blow ability. The
easiest way to get it is to steal it from the Alchemist in the Golden Clock mission. You will
need to use Sensor or Mog Peek in order to find it, then steal the other weapon that he is
holding first.

Missions Beyond the Numbered 300

After completing the 300 numbered missions there are about 10 extra missions to fight in.
You will get Judgemaster Cid at the start of these. The enemies are around Level 33 and
bosses in the later missions will get an ability called Blank Card, which allows them to
change the laws. You even have to fight Judges, who can give your units yellow cards at
will, so be careful.

Get Angel Ring

There are two ways that I know of to get Angel Ring

1.In the Lutia Mop-Up Mission there will be a Black Mage with a angel sign over his head.
Bring a thief who can use Steal: Acess. And steal his Angel Ring. (Thief Armlets
Recommended)

2.Level up your clan until you get it as a reward

Great Clan
To get this great clan, do like me:
1.Learn First Aid, Speedbreak, Mindbreak and Shieldbearer to Marche and to the other
Soldier, change their job to Thief and Fighter(i changed Marche to be a Thief and other
soldier to Fighter!).When Thief learns two abilities he can be a Ninja but first make the Thief
learn ALL abilities but no Maintenance...when your Thief has learned the abilities change
him to be a Ninja! Then make your Fighter learn ALL abilities but no Doublehand.When you
are done that change him to a Paladin.When you're ready learn to your Ninja and Paladin
ALL abilities but no Last Haste or Reflex.
2.Make Montblanc learn All fire, ice and thunder spells the change him to be an Animist,
learn Sheep Count to him because it is easy to learn and it is useless ability heheh...then
change him to be a Mog Knight and learn ALL abilities to him but no Last Haste.When that
is done, change him to be a Thief and learn Counter to him, then change him to a Gunner
and learn Concentrate to him.
3.Learn to your Bangaa as a Warrior ALL abilities but no Shieldbearer ,Powerbreak,
Mindbreak or Speedbreak. Then change him to be a White Monk and learn Counter to
him...when that's done change him to be a Dragoon and learn ALL abilities but no
Dragonheart.
4.Learn to your Nu Mou ALL White Mage abilities and two Beastmaster abilities to get
Sage.Learn ALL abilities to your Sage but no Weapon Defense+.
5.Learn to your Viera as a Fencer one Action ability, Reflex and Shieldbearer.Then change
her to a Red Mage and learn ALL abilities but no Magic Power+ and Catch.Then change
her to be as a Elementalist (wich one you get when Red Mage learns Cure) and learn to her
ALL abilities but no Absorb MP.
6.Recruit a Archer(Human) or Hunter and a White Monk.Learn ALL abilities to them but no
Weapon Attack+(Hunter).When that is done change your Archer(Human) to Hunter or
Hunter to Archer(Human) then learn ALL abilities but no Weapon Attack+(Hunter). Then
change your White Monk to be as a Warrior,learn two Action abilities to get
Defender.Change your White Monk to Defender and learn ALL abilities to him but no Last
Berserk. Then change him back to White Monk!!
Then give to them these items:
Ninja: Masamune, Brigandine, Masamune, Thief Armlets, Spiked Boots.
Mog Knight: Ayvuir Red, Genji Armor, Reverie Shield, Bangaa Helm, Fairy Shoes.
Paladin: Excalibur2, Maximillian, Genji Shield, Parade Helm, Fairy Shoes.
Dragoon: Bangaa Spike, Maximillian, La Seraphica, Genji Helm, Dash Boots.
Sage: Cactus Stick, Bone Plate, Sacri Shield, Genji Armlets, Spiked Boots.
Red Mage: Femme Fatale, Bone Plate, Aegis Shield, Ribbon, Germinas.
Hunter: Max's Oathbow, Power Sash, Headband, Angel Ring, Germinas.
White Monk: Greaseburst, Bone Plate, Scarab, Bone Armlets, Spiked Boots.
