The Saint Raphael the Archangel Parish is inviting students and teachers from the Sagkahan National High School to participate in their annual parish fiesta celebrations in honor of their patron saint. They are cordially inviting junior and senior high school students to attend and be blessed during the first day novena mass. Following mass will be a Taize prayer session to kick off the fiesta celebrations and give youth a chance to pray. They also invite young professional teachers to join the second day novena mass and participate in the prayers of the faithful readings. Praise be Jesus and Mary!

This year 2019 has been among the most special and significant year of the
Catholic Church as we exemplify harmony in the celebration of the Nine (9) year journey
towards the fifth (5th) Centenary of Christianity in the Philippines. Different programs and
activities have been initiated intended to acknowledge and indulge the importance of the
presence and involvement of our young people in the many works of the church.

In line with this, in this years’ annual festivities, in honor of our patron St. Raphael
the Archangel, we promote the same endeavor. To give our young people the chance to
experience Jesus Christ by giving them a special participation in the activities of the
church.

In this light, we cordially invite your school with the following:

1. Invite JUNIOR and SENIOR HIGH STUDENT Class Advisories to


come and celebrate with us on October 14, 2019 (Monday) the
1st DAY NOVENA MASS at our Church (St. Raphael the
Archangel). The celebration of the Holy Eucharist begins at 5:30
in the afternoon until 6:30 in the early evening. To give highlight
to our young people, a blessing of the youth is done before
the giving of the final blessing of the priest.

2. A communal prayer in the form of TAIZE will follow right after the
Holy Eucharist. This activity is a kick-off for the nearing fiesta.
Through this activity, we hope to give everyone a chance to
solemnly pray and offer an hour of conversation with our beloved
creator as well as indulge our young people to the habit prayer.
Prayers, songs, gospel reading and a testimony are among the
activities during the TAIZE.

3. Invite young professionals (teachers) from your school to join in


the celebration of the Holy Eucharist on the 2ND DAY NOVENA
(October 15, 2019) and a representative to form part of the
prayers of the faithful readings. (Readers are encouraged to
wear their uniforms)
