                         So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He,
                         and that I do nothing on My own authority, but speak just as the Father taught Me. And He Who
                         sent Me is with Me. He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.”
                         As he was saying these things, many believed in Him. So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed
                         him, “If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth
                         will set you free.”

                         Have you ever wished you could take your words back? It never feels good, but memorizing this

                         Scripture for a reminder before we speak will definitely help.
                         Colossians 4:6 - Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how
                         you ought to answer each person.

                                                                        Help us Lord with the words of our mouth and
                                                                        the meditations of our hearts for out of our
                                                                        hearts come our words. Teach us to have gracious
                                                                        speech by seasoning it with salt so that we may

                                                                        know how to answer any person we encounter at
                                                                        school. Let our speech be a blessing to the
                                                                        students, our colleagues, our administrators and
                                                                        our whole school community. Let there be

                                                                        something different about us because of our
                                                                        gracious speech. Give us the words we need that
                                                                        will bless at just the right time, O Lord. We love
                                                                        you and ask in the gracious name of Jesus. Amen.
