The Book Of John John 8:18-21

for educators
I am the One Who bears witness about Myself, and the Father Who sent Me bears witness about
Me.” They said to Him therefore, “Where is Your Father?” Jesus answered, ”You know neither Me nor
My Father. If you knew Me, you would know my Father also.” These words He spoke in the treasury,
as He taught in the temple; but no one arrested Him, because His hour had not yet come. So He said
to them again. “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am
going, you cannot come.”
There’s a Word for that! Goodness
There is no law in our public schools against love, joy, peace and the rest of the Fruit of the Spirit.

In fact, this is Social Emotional Learning at its best.

Galatians 5:22-23 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Dear Heavenly Father,


The indwelling of Your Holy Spirit empowers us to
display Your Fruit at school and home. What
school wouldn’t want those who impact the next
generation to display love, joy, peace, goodness,

faithfulness? There is no law against such things,
Lord. Your Fruit is always pleasing. Help us to be
contagious for You and never contentious. May
we win others over for Jesus through the Fruit of

the Spirit. We thank You Lord for teaching us how


to interact with others. Please grant us a double
portion of Your ways. We ask for this in the
generous name of Jesus. Amen.
