This course is designed to achieve the following learning outcomes. After


successful completion of the course the students will be able to:

 Use different mechanics of writing to produce various types of


compositions effectively keeping in view the purpose and the audience.
 Demonstrate critical thinking in well-organized forms of academic texts.
 Do close reading of texts and analyze them with different critical
framework.
 Comprehend discourse such as lectures, conversations, interviews and
discussions.
 Develop adequate speaking skills to communicate effectively to follow
academic courses
