1) Background

HISTORY OF PARAÑAQUE CITY COLLEGE

P arañaque City College (PCC) was created by City ordinance No.14-02 Series of
2013,enacted on February 06, 2014 through the effort of Honorable Mayor
Edwin L. Olivarez, Vice Mayor Honorable Rico T. Golez, Congressman Gustavo
Tambunting of 2nd District, Congressman Eric L. Olivarez of 1st District, Councilor
Maitess B. De Asis, Chairwoman of Committee on Education and the City Councils.

Resolution 14-084 Series of 2014 : A resolution authorizing Parañaque City College


(PCC) to offer TECHNICAL TRAINING COURSES done on May 29, 2014.

1. Front Office Services NC II


2. Contact Center Services NCII
3. Bookkeeping NCIII
4. Housekeeping NCII
5. Food and Beverage Services NCII
6. Cookery NCII
7. Local Guiding Services NCII

PCC is located at Col. E. De Leon St., Sto. Niño, Parañaque City. PCC is intended to
offer Baccalaureate Degree and TESDA Registered courses.

PCC formally opened classes in three programs namely: Bookkeeping NCIII,


Housekeeping NCII and Food and Beverage Services NCII on September 16, 2014
under the indefatigable leadership of Dr. NELSON A. SILVA.

A leading urban college recognized for its diversity, innovative and known for academic
excellence in Tourism and Business Management, Technical Vocation, Entrepreneurial
and Research.

To provide inspiration and innovative leadership for learning and human development
within Parañaque City and nearby communities.

c. Percentage of utilization for the past 5 years
d. Annual local appropriation for the past 5 years
e. Approved fees collected in the last 5 years and breakdown/percentage of
utilization

a.1. Location

Parañaque is situated in the southern portion of Metro Manila. It is subdivided into two
distinct districts, each of which contains eight barangays. District I comprises Baclaran,
Tambo, Don Galo, Sto. Niño, La Huerta, San Dionisio, Vitalez and San Isidro, while the
District II consists of Barangays BF, San Antonio, Marcelo Green, Sun Valley, Don
Bosco, Moonwalk, Merville and San Martin de Porres.

Parañaque is composed of two congressional districts and two legislative districts which
are further subdivided into 16 Barangays. legislative District 1 consists of eight
barangays in the western half of the city, whilst legislative District 2 consists of eight
barangays in the eastern part of the city.
