CONTEXT :
In line with the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, the Department of
Education issues the enclosed policy on The Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a K to 12 Basic
Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the
Improvement of Teaching and Learning. Panabo Central Elementary School SPED
Center, as an intitution of learning recognizes that the quality of learning is greatly
influenced by the quality of teaching, its environment, and the whole teaching force. For
this to happen, the teachers as facilitators should be equipt with strategies and skills
necessary to help, develop, and mold our pupils to be globally competitve, thus the
implementation of our SLAC Session.
OBJECTIVES : EXPECTED OUTPUTS :
At the end of every session, the participants
shall have:
1. Reinforce the capacity of teachers in * Enhanced learning
teaching, assessing, and understanding resources on literacy
the students’ difficulties in learning. and numeracy
2. Systematic use of appropriate strategies * Teaching strategies
for delivering and assessing the learning in the lesson plan
objectives targeted for each lesson
3. Strengthen among teachers the spirit * Collaborative work
of continuous support in the enhancement among peers
of teaching competence
