Hearst Tower

The Hearst Tower in New York City was designed by Foster + Partners between 2000-2006. The design board was led by Norman Foster and aimed to create an inspirational environment through sustainable design that combined modern advances with vernacular techniques. The tower meets high environmental standards and creatively blends old and new through its distinctive diagrid structural facade. Its irregular shape generates personality within the context of the site while connecting the existing lobby building to new office floors above.
