Operational Procedure
1. Prepare your workplace
Take Inventory
Make Space, Make Time
Prepare Grounding Protection
2. Put on all safety equipment and tie back loose hair or clothing before
operating
3. Check to make sure all parts of machine are working and functioning
properly

On/off buttons of sewing machine
4. Set up sewing machine with correct needle, thread, and desired sewing
pattern (pattern options located on front face of machine)
See p. 11 in User Manual in Appendix for full instructions on
threading the machine
5. When ready, turn on sewing machine
Use foot pedal to control speed of needle in operation
6. Set up work piece for sewing, make sure sewing path is clearly visible
7. Conduct Sample Run test
Sew work piece along desired path while keeping hands a safe
distance away from the needle
Test machine output
Re-adjustment setting to meet requirements
Maintain records
8. When finished, turn off sewing machine
9. Unplug the machine, clean it, make sure the wire is place it in a proper
way
10. Clean workspace as needed
