Resignation Letter

Dr. Jehan Kashmira B. Mokamad- Campiao submits her letter of resignation as research coordinator for the Department of Medicine. She feels she has not been effective in her role based on resident output and some personal reasons. Additionally, she was informed at a department meeting that the member of the Research Committee from their department would automatically become the research coordinator, but a hospital order reconstituting the committee did not include her name. Therefore, she has decided to resign from her position, but will continue mentoring residents without an official role.

Dear Dr. Sinsuat,


Assalamo Walaykum.
Please accept my letter of resignation from the position of research coordinator in our
department, effective as of today.
I am grateful for giving me this position but I do believed that I am not deserving. For the
last few months, I felt that I am not effective to our residents based on their output and
some personal reasons.
I was informed that during the department meeting ( I’m at the HSP convention), that
who will be the member of the CRMC Research Committee from our department will
automatically be the research coordinator. Last February 6, 2018 I was notified by a co-
member of the Research Committee that her department received Hospital Order No.
2018- 140 with the “Subject: Reconstitution of the CRMC Research Scientific
Committee Member” and found out that my name was not included. I was also made
aware by the chairperson of the committee of that hospital order thru a text message.
Therefore, I have decided to resign.
I will still continue in mentoring our residents even without a position.
