Dear Christian,

Thanks for your enquiries and your interest with Birmingham City University. We have January/
February Intake, some courses start in August and we have the September intakes as well.  You don’t
really need to pay any of our representatives based in your country and fully registered with us.
Please find more about agents in your location that are registered with us via:
https://www.bcu.ac.uk/international/bcu-in-your-country.

I will advise that you go onto our website via: https://www.bcu.ac.uk/courses; to select a course of
your choice. Students can make their applications directly on the Birmingham City University
Website. Or find attached a pdf version form that can be completed and sent back to us.

On the site, you will find a sub-category for “Fees & How to Apply” with a link to the online
application portal, where they will be submitting an application. You can also find a lot of information
on this page, such as course duration, fees, entry requirements and course in depth.

Birmingham City University has a range of scholarships to offer for  International students who have
applied for our Undergraduate or Postgraduate courses. These are automatically awarded to those
who are eligible to receive one, so there is no separate application! The scholarships are deducted
from the overall tuition fees, and do not affect the cost of accommodation or any other costs. You
can find our scholarship opportunities at: https://www.bcu.ac.uk/international/fees-costs-and-
scholarships/scholarships

Offer process:

It will take our team between 10-20 working days to respond after you have applied. This is simply
because applications need to go to the faculty and come back with acceptance or rejection. It could
happen within a short period of time, depending on your individual  circumstance. Please note that
processing time of new documents towards your application is also about 10-20 working days. So
give enough time when applying.

Find more information in relation to the English requirement for international students via:
https://www.bcu.ac.uk/international/your-application/english-language-and-english-tests; follow the
different tabs to find out more information on all the English test exams/certificates we accept in
your country and other possible options available apart from the IELTS.

Hope this helps. Do not hesitate to get back in touch, if you need more support with your application.

Kind regards,
