HIS History
In year 1964, Mr.Nicanor Espanueva Sr. and Mr. Felomino Morales huddled each other the benefits of
the school to the children in the community. They are united to ask support from Governor Alfredo
Montelibano for having primary school.
The supported initiators helped hand in hand in complying the requirements such as the land
area donated by Mr. Felomino Morales and the makeshift classroom was being constructed by the
volunteers. It was year 1967 when the primary school known as Hinapunan Primary School officially
opened which was the community’s dream came into reality.
Parent’s livelihood depends on small farm which was their daily source of living and it is very
difficult for them. But despite of the challenges and difficulties they undertake day by day still the
parents helped each other to support the school until Hinapunan Primary School turned into Hinapunan
Elementary School in year 1974.
A lot of elementary graduates in this institution did not pursue their high school education due
to far distance and some parents couldn’t afford to send their children to high school in brgy Oringao.
Year 2010, Sir Denrose L. Entierro a principal of this institution initiated to have high school with the
helped of Sir Theodore P. Covacha a principal of Florentino Galang Sr. National High School. The parents
and students were so very happy of this school’s achievement for having a high school department that
they longed for. A Florentino Galang Sr. National High School-Hinapunan Extension was enjoyed by the
hopeful students together with Mam Virginia Ocsima Allones as a pioneer teacher.
It is a nature to people as well as to the students that keep growing is highly needed. An agile
and clever principal of Florentino Galang Sr. National High School and Hinapunan Extension Sir Jolly G.
Gariando, Jr heartily gave his countless hand to Sir Denrose in supporting Hinapunan Extenson into a
successful Hinapunan Integrated School in the year 2013.
Year 2015 a new principal was installed named Sir Abner D. Docdocil, He is now keep on growing
the institution into a fruitful one and stress-free environment. He conquers the difficulties and
challenges in order to pursue the Senior High School for the Junior High School graduates.
Currently people in the community are enjoying this name Hinapunan Integrated School to be
proud of by the people behind to this flying color achievement as their ever legacy.
