Discipline
The Center is committed to following the guidelines set forth by
the Commonwealth of Kentucky when disciplinary methods are
required.
The Center Plan for Disciplining a Child:
1. Establish clear and consistent rules for children.
2. Redirection and helping children understand proper behavior
   in the situation.
Children may not be hit, slapped, spanked, or disciplined in a
physical fashion.
Staff will never raise their voices at children for disciplinary
purposes.
NOTE: Toilet training or rest will not be used as a form of
discipline. Humiliation or teasing will never be used as a method
of discipline.
If a continuing discipline problem exists, the Director will be
contacted and a conference set up with parents. Parents should
advise the Center of any discipline issues that may exist with
their child before registration. We hope to partner with you in
developing the best possible plan in your child’s development.
If a discipline issue continues to exist and is not resolved, the
child may be discharged from the facility.
                  Tooth Brushing Policy
