Online Mock Audition Excerpts


First Years — select 3 complete excerpts

Second Years — select 4 complete excerpts

Third Years (and above) — select 5 complete excerpts

For all candidates: at least one of your selected excerpts must be multi-sectioned (these are
those excerpts that are not only numbered but whose components are further labelled with a
letter as well; e.g. 1a—1b, 3a—3c etc.)

For candidates who are also preparing excerpts on their auxiliary instruments (piccolo, E-flat
clarinet, soprano sax etc). Please prepare the following:

First Years — 1 excerpt for auxiliary instrument, 2 for primary instrument

Second Years — 2 excerpts for auxiliary instrument, 2 for primary instrument

Third Years (and above) — 2 excerpts for auxiliary instrument, 3 for primary instrument

If one selected excerpt is from Lincolnshire Posy for either your primary or auxiliary instrument,
then you may not select another excerpt from Lincolnshire Posy for your other instrument.
