Questions:

1. How did Mackenzie accept the death of Missy before his encounter with God? Explain.

Mackenzie accept the death of Missy before he met God with grief, blame, and

regrets. He can’t help his self to move on and accept the reality that her daughter was

already gone. He blamed himself so much so his family was also affected on his attitude.

His relationship between his remaining children were became cold. He lost the chance to

be with his family because of the incident. He was out of control and he didn’t know how

to stand from all the problems he encountered. He also blame God because He let Missy

died. Mackenzie was miserable that time. He was lose hope. He seems that everything

will be okay if he will get revenge to the killer. He was running out of time and out of

roads.

2. How did God reveal His will to Mackenzie?

God reveal His will to Mackenzie through a dream. Before Mackenzie had a

dream, he went to the place where Missy’s dress was found. That time, he was out of

control. He was shouting and he want to see the suspect because want the killer to realize

that he was the reason why he woeful. After that, he tried to enditall by shooting his head

with gun but God made a way to stop it. God sent the deer as a sign that killing his life

was not the solution to the pain he was experienced. God reveal His self in Mackenzie’s

dream. God had three persona to help Mackenzie realize that God loves him so much and
he don’t want to see him hopeless and endures because of the pain. God made many

challenges to Mackenzie in order to see himself as a mess like a garden. But when

Mackenzie allow him to see the goodness of the Lord and how great He is, finally he

accept the fact that everything has a reason and purpose. God doesn’t want His son empty

and miserable. He only want is to see them with faith, trust and joy with Him.

3. How did Mackenzie accept the death of Missy after his encounter with God? Explain.

When Mackenzie encountered God, he heartedly accept the death of Missy.

Through dream he sight the works of God and what kind of God his Papa is. And by that,

he firmly let go all the anger, hates, sadness and blame in his heart. He forget the painful

past of his life and he focused on the present time with his family. He learned how to

forgive his neighbors even they hurt him so much. After his encounter with God, he

move forward and looking the things with a purpose and happiness.

4. Reflect on your life and its “greatness sadness” (problems, pains, etc.) then imagine, if

you are to judge God, will you accuse Him of guilty of just punishing you or guilty of

just loving you? Explain.

If I will judge God, I will accuse Him of guilty of just loving me because I know

that when He know that (I) His child is with Him, He won’t let me abandoned and

experience too much grief. When I imagined the greatness sadness of mine, I never

accuse God of guilty of just punishing me. The only thing that running on my mind is,

God loves me so much so He wants me to stand firm by experiencing many struggles and

He also want me to test on how strong am I in my faith in Him if He will send me

greatest challenge. And until now I can say that He never stop loving me because He is
just continue giving me a lot of trials and spite of that my I’m intensely showing my love

on Him by means of following His will and letting His will be done not mine.
