Prayer Translation Bismillah A‘uzu billahi minashaitanir rajim Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim Surah Fatiha Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil ‘aalameen ‘Ar-Rahmaanir-Raheem Maaliki Yawmid-Deen lyyaaka na’budu wa lyyaaka nasta'een Ihdinas-Siraatal-Mustaqeem Siraata-lazeena an‘amta ‘alaihim ghayril- maghdoobi ‘alaihim wa lad-daaalleen Ruku Allahuakbar Subhana Rabbi Al Azeem Subbu-hun Quddu sun Rabbu-na wa Rubbul Mala'ikati war-Rooh Sami Allahu Liman Hamidah Rabbana lakal Hamd Hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubaarakan feeh Allahuakbar Sajda Subhana Rabbi Al A'laa Allahumma ighfir li dhanbi kullahu, diqqahu wa¥jllahu, wa-awwalahu wa-akhirahu, wa- ‘alaniyatahu wa-sirrahu Allahuma Ajima min an-nar Sitting (Between Sajda) Allahumm-aghfir li, warhamni, wahdini, warzugni, wa ‘aafini, wajburni. | seek refuge in Allah from the outcast Satan In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; Most Gracious, Most Merciful Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. Show us the straight way, The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. Allah is the Greatest Glory to my Lord the Exalted ALLAH is the purest of ALL and even more than that. HE is our RAB and RAB of angels and RAB of angel called "Rooh" Allah listens to him who praises Him Oh our Lord, all praise is to you Praise which is abundant, excellent and blessed.’ Allah is the Greatest Oh Allah glory be to you, the most high Oh Allah, forgive me all of my sins, the small and great of them, the first and the last of them, whether they are committed secretly or openly. O Allah, protect me from the Fire O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, grant me sustenance, keep me in a state of safety and wellbeing, and strengthen my weakness. Sitting AttahiyyaatuLillahi Was Salawatu Wattayyibatu Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhannabi ‘yu 'Warahmatullahi Wabarka'tuhu Assalamu Alaina Wa’ala'lbadillahis Saa'liheen Ash'had'u'un La ilahaillallahu Wa Ash'hadu Anna MuhammadunAbd'uhu Wa Rasooluh Allahumma Salleh Alaa Muhammadin Wa'ala’ Aale Muhammadin Kama Sallaiyta Alaa Ibraheema Wa’ Ala Aale lbraneema InnakaHameedum Majeed Allahumma Baarak Alaa Muhammadin Wa’ Ala Aale Muhammadin Kama Baarakta Alaa Ibraheem Wa’ Ala Aale Ibraheema Innaka Hameedum Majeed Dua after Durood Rab bij'ainee mugeemas salati wa min zur-riy yatee rab-bana wata qab-bal du'a, rab-ba nagh-firlee wali waliday-ya wa lil mu-mineena yawma yaqumul hisab. Rabbana Aatina Fid Duniya Hasanataw Wafil Akhirati Hasanataw Wa Qina Azaaban Naar Assalamu Alai'kumWarah'matullah Dua Qunoot (Witr) Allah humma inna nast'eenuka wa nastaghfiruka wa nu'minu bika wa natawak- kalu 'alayka wa nuthne ‘alayk-al khayr. Wa nashkuruka wa laaa nakfuruka wa nakhla'u wa natruku man-y yafjuruka, Allah humma iyyaka na'budu wa laka nusal-lee wa nasjudu wa ilayka nas'a wa nahfidu wa narju rahmataka wa nakhsha ‘azabaka inna ‘azabaka bil kuf-fari mulhiq. All compliments, all physical prayer and all monetary worship are for Allah. Peace be upon you, Oh Prophet, and Allah's mercy and blessings. Peace be on us and on all righteous slaves of Allah, | bear witness that no one is worthy of worship except Allah And | bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger Oh Allah, send grace and honour on Muhammad and on the family and true followers of Muhammad just as you sent Grace and Honour on Ibrahim and on the family and true followers of Ibrahim Surely, you are praiseworthy, the Great Oh Allah, send your blessing on Muhammad and the true followers of Muhammad, just as you sent blessings on Ibrahim and his true followers. Surely, you are praiseworthy, the Great. Oh Lord, make me and my children keep up prayers, Our Lord, accept our prayer, Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and all the Believers on the Day of Judgement. Our Lord, grant us the good of this world and that of the Hereafter and save us from the ‘torture of hell. Peace and mercy of Allah be on you Oh Allah, we ask you for help and seek your forgiveness, and we believe in You and have trust in You, and we praise you in the best way and we thank You and we are not ungrateful to you, and we forsake and turn away from the one who disobeys you. O Allah, we worship You only and pray to You and prostrate ourselves before You, and we run towards You and serve You, and we hope to receive your mercy, and we fear your punishment. Surely, the disbelievers will receive your punishment. Surah Fil Alam tara kaifa fa’ala rabbuka bi ashaabil + Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the feel Companions of the Elephant? Alam yaj'al kai dahum fee tad lee! Did He not make their treacherous plan go | _ astray? Wa arsala ‘alaihim tairan abaabeel And He sent against them Flights of Birds, Tar meehim bi hi jaaratim min sij jeel Striking them with stones of baked clay. Faja ‘alahum ka‘asfim m'akool Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up. Surah Humazah Wai lul-ii kulli hu mazatil-lumaza |Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and- backbiter, |Atlazi jama'a maalaw wa'addadah |Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, Yahsabu anna maalahu akhladah Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! Kalla layum ba zanna fil hutamah By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, Wa maa adraaka mal-hutamah And what will explain to thee That which Breaks [to Pieces? Narul laahil-mooqada (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to |a blaze), Al latee tat tali'u ‘alalafidah The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: Innaha ‘alaihim moosada It shall be made into a vault over them, Fee 'amadim-mu mad dadah In columns outstretched. Surah Qadr Innaa anzalnaahu fee lailatil qadr Verily! We have sent it (this Qur'an) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) Wa maa adraaka ma lailatul qadr And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? Lailatul qadri Khairum min alfee shahr The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months). Tanaz zalul malaa-ikatu war roohu feeha bi Therein descend the angels and the Ruh izni-rab bihim min kulli amr [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, Salaamun hiya hattaa mat la'il fajr Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn. Surah Meanings ‘Surah Ikhlas Qui huwal laahu ahad He is Allah, the One and Only Allah hus-samad Allah, the Eternal, Absolute Lam yalid wa lam yoolad Wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad He begetteth not, nor is He begotten And there is none like unto Him. Surah Nas Qu! a'uzu birabbin naas | seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind, Malikin naas The King (or Ruler) of Mankind, llaahin naas The Allah (for judge) of Mankind, Min sharril was waasil khannaas From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper), Al lazee yuwas wisu fee sudoorin naas (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind, Minal jinnati wan naas Among Jinns and among men. Surah Falaq Qui a'uzoo bi rabbil-falag | seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn Min sharri ma khalaq From the mischief of created things Wa min sharri ghasiqin iza waqab From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads Wa min sharrin-naffaa-saati fil ‘'ugad From the mischief of those who practise secret arts Wa min shar ri haasidin iza hasad And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy ‘Surah Kafirun Qul yaa-ai yuhal kaafiroon Laa a'budu ma t'abudoon O ye that reject Faith! | worship not that which ye worship, Wa laa antum ‘aabidoona maa a'bud Nor will ye worship that which | worship. Wa laa ana ‘abidum maa ‘abattum Nor will | worship those whom you have worshipped, Wa laa antum ‘aabidoona ma a'bud Nor will ye worship that which | worship. Lakum deenukum wa liya deen. To you be your Way, and to me mine. Surah Kauthar Innaa a'taina kal kauthar To thee have We granted the Fount (of Abundance). Fa salli li rabbika wanhar Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice Inna shani-aka huwal abtar For he who hateth thee, he will be cut off (from Future Hope). Surah Asr Wal’ asr Innal insaana lafee khusr II lal lazeena aamanu wa ‘amilus saali haati wa tawa saw bil haqqi wa tawa saw bis sabr By (the Token of) Time (through the ages) Verily Man is in loss, Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy. Surah Quraysh Li-ilaafi quraish Elaafihim rihlatash shitaa-i wass saif Fal y'abudu rabba haazal-bait Allazi at'amahum min ju'inw-wa-aamana hum min khawf Surah Nasr For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish, Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer, Let them adore the Lord of this House, Who provides them with food against hunger, _and with security against fear (of danger). Iza jaa-a nas rullahi walfath When comes the Help of Allah, and Victory, Wa ra-aitan nasa yadkhuloona fee deenil laahi afwajah Fa sab bih bihamdi rabbika was taghfir, innahu kaana tawwaaba Surah Ma‘un And thou dost see the people enter Allah's Religion in crowds, Celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and pray for His Forgiveness: For He is Oft-Returning (in Grace and Mercy). Ara-aital lazee yu kazzibu bid deen Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? Fa zaalikal lazi yadu'ul-yateem Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), Wa la ya huddu ‘alaa ta’amil miskeen Fa wai lul-lil mu salleen Al lazeena hum ‘an salaatihim sahoon Al lazeena hum yuraa-oon ‘And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. So woe to the worshippers Who are neglectful of their prayers, Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), |Wa yamna'oonal ma'‘oon Surah Lahab Tab bat yadaa abee Lahabinw-wa tabb Maa aghna ‘anhu maaluhu wa ma kasab Sa yas laa naran zaata lahab Wam ra-atuhu hamma latal-hatab Fee jeediha hab lum mim-masad But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs | Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame! His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As | fuel! A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck!
