Relationships: Personal Growth


Who am I now?

1. Describe a relationship, either in school or outside of school, that you have spent time
developing this year. (​Some examples: relationship with a parent, teacher, coach, friend,
significant other, counselor, mentor, etc.)​

- This year I have spent time developing my relationships with my friends.

2. How has this relationship challenged you to grow?

- My relationships with my friends have allowed me to become more comfortable


with new people. At first, they were strangers who I thought I would never talk to
but luckily, I got to become good friends with thanks to the reasons for meeting
and getting close to each other

3. What kinds of skills have you developed or practiced because of this relationship?

- I feel like I was able to practice my communication skills very often and also my
ability to work as a team since we were teammates in cross country and Track

4. How can you use things you’ve learned in this relationship as you interact with other people in
your life?

- I can definitely use the fact that I am starting to feel a bit more comfortable about
having to talk to people I don’t know very well and I can definitely work well with
others

5. Do you think this current relationship will continue to be a part of your life in the future?
Explain.

- I hope it can continue but if it doesn’t, then I’m glad to have met these people
who have brightened my days in school. If our friendship doesn’t continue, I’ll
definitely keep them in my memories.
