Bullying takes many forms and can have severe negative impacts on victims. It often begins at a young age through verbal harassment, ridicule or teasing, and can escalate to physical assaults. Bullies seek attention, feel in control over victims, and may imitate what they see in media or from adults. To deal with bullying, it is important to tell trusted adults, ignore the bully, build confidence, confront the bully about their harmful actions, and support other victims. Addressing bullying upholds Pancasila's principles of just and civilized humanity.

Bullying is the act of intimidating and forcing a weaker individual or group to

do something against their will, with a view to physical, mental or emotional harm
through harassment and assault. Parents often do not realize, their children
become victims of bullying at school. The most common form of bullying in
schools is verbal harassment, which can come in the form of ridicule, teasing or
teasing in the name mentioning. If left unchecked, this form of abuse can escalate
into physical terror such as kicking, thrashing and even rape. Usually perpetrators
start bullying at school at a young age, by committing terrorizing boys and girls
emotionally or psychological intimidation. Children bother for various reasons.
Usually because they seek attention from their peers and parents, or also because
they feel important and feel in control. There is also a lot of bullying in schools
that is spurred on by imitating adult actions or television programs. The obvious
impact of the bully is beneficial for the perpetrator and detrimental to the victim.
Bully is considered like the Law of the Jungle. The law of the jungle where the
person who has power will win. Bullies will usually look stronger and consider
themselves above the victim. The victim will be seen as a weak person and will be
looked down on by others. Usually even cases of bullying must be carried out by
many people against one person. Because they will be brave if there are more.
How to deal with bullying is: first, Tell a trusted adult. Tell parents and teachers
who have the authority to follow up on bullying behavior. Second, Ignore the
oppressor and stay away. Third, Increase your courage and confidence. Show the
environment that you are not weak and easy to be bullied. Fourth, talk to the
perpetrators of bullying. Show that what the perpetrators do is not a good and
even dangerous thing. Fifth, help friends who are victims of bullying. If you
witness bullying, do not say anything and try to support the victim. The conclusion
is that bullying results in a different degree of humanity even though we have the
second principle of Pancasila which is "just and civilized humanity" which means
equality for all people.
