Shakira: She is a famous Colombian singer that I admire all my life, she has a foundation
called Pies Descalzos, which helps children who were victims of violence and abuse. His
solidarity activity focuses on helping the children of Colombia so that they and their
parents improve their quality of life. Thanks to its foundation, more than 6,000 boys and
girls can go to school. It also fosters solidarity, an example of this is that it starred in the
announcement of a company with the sole condition that the institution collaborate with its
cause.
Carolina Cruz: she is a beautiful model and television presenter, she is very clear on how
to bring back to life something of the kindness she has received and is an enthusiastic
promoter of what is known as social responsibility, a topic that even has a special section
on their official site. Carolina was named "Amiga Unicef" for her interest in supporting
campaigns to support and protect children. She is also an active promoter of the
Fundación Angiopediatría Colombia, which performs extraordinary work in relation to the
so-called "orphan diseases", that is, it is so rare that affected patients not only make an
extraordinary effort but large amounts of money to access to specialized treatments, it is
an enthusiastic impulse of the Fundación Doctora Payaso that brings joy to the sick. She is
also known for her love of animals, whom she cares for through the Great Spirit and
Animal Voice foundations.
Gabriel García Márquez: He was the most admired Latin American novelist of all time in
Latin America. Although she is one of the five or six best-known Latin American
personalities of the twentieth century, she was born in the 'middle of nowhere', in a town of
less than ten thousand inhabitants, most of whom were illiterate, with unpaved streets,
without aqueduct, and with a name, Aracataca (aka 'Macondo'), And yet he changes into a
wealthy man, with seven houses in glamorous locations in five different countries. You can
publish your articles at any time in the world newspaper and receive large sums of money
for them.
Both Shakira and Carolina Cruz succeed and strive from very young to achieve their goals
even when difficulties arise and their simplicity and nobility are demonstrated through their
great efforts of solidarity supporting those who need it most, such as children and
vulnerable people. Likewise, although Gabriel Garcia Marquez did not carry out this type of
activities and charities, he opened new perspectives on literature, providing millions of
readers with many hours of enjoyment, fulfillment and satisfaction.
I think that like these three great artists, I have also strived to achieve my goals and grow
personally and professionally, and I know that it takes a greater discipline to achieve great
things just as they did and today they are recognized for their profession and
achievements.
