Course Objectives:
The course is designed to introduce the theories and principles for the development,
design, implementation of technology in the instruction, evaluation, professional
development and educational research.
On completion of the course, the students will be able to:
Understand the concept of the use of technology in education
Understand the use technology and related tools for the purpose of educational
research
Understand the use technology for effective classroom instruction.
Understand the importance of different resources of Educational Technology
in education.
Understand the use of technology for students’ evaluation.
Understand the utility of technology for educational administration and
leadership
Comprehend the necessity of technology for professional development of
teachers
Understand challenges or hindrances in the use of technology in educational
setting.

Media selection: Integration and evaluation; Factors affecting media selection-
Effective classroom communication-Modes, Process & Barriers.
Unit- III. Behavioural and Instructional Technology
Modalities and strategies of teaching
Modification of Teaching Behaviour: Micro-teaching, Flander’s Interaction
Analyses, Simulation
Models of Teaching- Concept, Different Families, Information Processing
