PREPOSITION OF TIME

 We use prepositions of time to say when something happens, happened or will happen. The most
common ones are at, in and on.

AT IN ON
the times: at 7 o’clock months: in March, in April, etc. days: on Sunday, on Christmas’ day,
holidays: at Christmas seasons: in summer, in fall, etc. on New Year’s day.
at Easters years: in 2015, in 2010, etc. dates: on June 10th
at the weekend centuries: in the 19th century part of a particular day: on Sunday
in the expressions: in the expressions: afternoon.
at the moment, at present, in the morning, in the afternoon, adjective + day: on a hot day
at dawn, at noon, at night, in the evening, in an hour, in a
at midnight week, in a minute, in a few days, in
a month, in a year.

Fill in the gaps with at, on or in. Complete the sentences with in, on or at.
