Appeal Element and a little bit of

Iconography Element were used in this
movie poster. It is easy to draw and invite
moviegoers especially Celine Sciamma fans
by adding her name on the poster. This is
an important element to boost the appeal
of the poster. A scene on the film actually
had the lady in the poster burn her gown
by accident, which makes the film iconic
and a film that one could easily associate
every time they see a gown on fire.

poster. Sometimes you don’t have to present a
complicated poster. Doting on simplicity
oftentimes is enough to catch the attention of
passersby. It’s raw and straightforward but
conveys a lot.
We could also see the Style Element, since the
film was set during 1961, the referential style of
the 60’s makes it easy to recall.

DREAMKATCHER

DreamKATCHER used the element of

being Recognizable, in which the
design is versatile for different formats
such as DVD format.

DREAMCATCHER

On the other hand, DreamCATCHER

used Iconography. This is a strong
way to have a good poster by just
showing iconic objects such as mask.
Its borders the hint of mystery and
revelation.
