The teacher, Jane E. Saguta-On, is resigning from her position at Hinigaran Institute effective September 14, 2018. She has accepted a new teaching position at Payao National High School, which will provide better opportunities for her future and help her family. While it is difficult to leave, she feels this is a necessary step to grow professionally and improve her circumstances. She is grateful for the experiences at Hinigaran Institute, which helped develop her skills and form strong relationships, and she will always treasure the time she spent there.

Dear Madam:

I have the honor to render my resignation effective September 14, 2018 with the following
reasons: first, I will be transferring at Payao National High School, second, it is a big opportunity
for my future and lastly, it is of great help to my family.

It was a great experience working with people in this humble institution. This school molded me
and honed my skills of becoming a compassionate teacher with the foundation of good
camaraderie of which I considered as one of the wonderful things I will surely miss after I leave.

I appreciate everything this school had offered me. From the persons I have worked with and
up to the students that I am with all throughout these years. I will forever treasure and bring
these things I learned from this school wherever this journey of life will take me.

With a humble and grateful heart, I would like to say, thank you so much for letting me
experience such a wonderful kind of endeavor, for believing in my capacity and for entrusting
me your learners. I was so blessed to be a part of this family. For a year and few months, I
considered Hinigaran Institute as my second home. Even though it’s hard for me to say good
bye, I have to accept the fact that all things always come to an end. Sometimes, we need to go
out from our comfort zone to experience new things and to find space for new learnings. We
need to sacrifice something in order for us to grow more towards the betterment of our future.
Once again, thank you for all the trust and for making me who I am today. I will always be
bringing these experiences I have with you for the rest of my life.
