COURSE APPLICATIONS

Having successfully completed this module you will be able to:


 Gain an insight into maintenance schedules of vehicle, its importance and significance with
reference to performance of vehicle, running and maintenance cost, emission levels, downtime
cost, accidental hazards, etc.
 Develop understanding and skill about measuring instruments and tools used for servicing and
repair of automobiles.
 To carry out daily and periodic maintenance checks on their own.
 To develop skill for carrying out diagnosis and identify the cause of any trouble as well as will
be able to rectify the causes.
 Gain knowledge about the best practices followed at authorized service stations.
 Understand the processes followed for carrying out major types of repairs including paid job,
warranty job, minor and major overhauling work, body and paint job, etc.
