literature is a worldview from another perspective, place, time, or world. Literature is just
kind of a time capsule of information being passed down for years and years, which
makes it understandable today and make point of its relevance.

Essential Questions
The students/pupils will keep considering the following:
1. How does literature help in expressing appreciation and love of one’s culture?
2. How do people use literature as a vehicle to understand the society of the past relevant to
today?

I.PRELIMINARIES:
Focus: Personification

Review: When do we construct metaphorical sentences? How about simile sentences?

Activating prior knowledge: What non-living thing in this world you once wished could talk
back to you? Why?

Motivation: The teacher will divide the class into four groups. The teacher then assigns
pictures to each group, and the students will make three sentences describing the thing with
human attributes. The group with the most fitting description will be given the highest point.
The pictures below should be assigned accordingly:
