        6) Reporting
        Are daily reports being maintained and do they include as a minimum:
        - Date, time, client, name --- applicators name --- job identification
        - ambient condition, relative humidity, dew point --- surface preparation details
        - coating details (batch, type, WFT, DFT etc) ---- Inspection details/ results
        - Verify the traceability of Paint inspection reports
        - History records - For each Isometric drawing details of coating dates & details
        Process verification
        1.0 Equipment
        1.1 Compressor
            Is compressed air supply free from water and oil?
            Area there adequate dryers and liquid traps?
            Area they are emptied regularly?
            Is the air delivered at a temperature of less than 110 deg C?
        1.2 Blasting Equipment
            Is equipment adequately earthed to prevent build up of static?
            Is nozzle discharge pressure between 700kpa (100psi) and 550kpa (80psi)?
            Is the nozzle a tungsten carbide venturi, & is it wear within acceptable levels?

            Is blasting operator’s hood ventilated by clean air and through a regulator/filter?
        1.3 Spraying Equipment
            Is the spaying equipment being used as per the paint manufacturers
            Recommendations and suitable for the specified paint or coating system?
            If airless spray, has the correct tip range and fluid pressure setting been used?
            If air spray, are there traps to remove the oil & water from air? Emptied
        regularly
            Are there suitable regulators & gauges to control air to the pump/ pressure pot?
            Is the spraying unit adequately earthed?
        2.0 Consumable material
        2.1 Abrasives
            Are the abrasives being used in accordance with PDO specifications?
            -correct abrasive quality - -free from oil, grease, moisture, salts

    -not rusty, noticeably worn when compared with fresh material
    Is any abrasive that is being re-used?
2.2 Paint
    Is it the specified paint? -- Is the paint suitable for the application?
    Are the batch details/certificate available?
    Shelf life/Manufacturer expire date OK? --Adequate amount of material?
    Is there a fixing agent being used? Is it as per the manufacture
recommendations?
3.0 Environmental conditions
Are weather conditions adequate i.e.,
- temp of surface >3°C for blast, 5°C for Paint or as recommended
- relative humidity of air < 85% --- - air temperature > 5°C
- ventilation adequate for personnel & process -- wind speed less than 15 knots
- Is the equipment being used for measuring environmental condition calibrated?
4.0 Surface preparation
-Was the surface inspected prior to shot blasting & free from contaminants?
- Are environmental adequate for blasting?
-Is the grade of surface finish in accordance with Swedish standard SIS 05 5900?
-Is the surface roughness within a range of 30 to 80 microns?
-Post blast surface inspection to ensure the surface is clean?
5.0 Painting Application
-Are environmental conditions acceptable to commence painting?
-Is ventilation sufficient for the personnel & explosion hazards
--Does the coating thickness & number of coat is as per the specification?
-Is finished product visually acceptable, free from runs, contamination etc?
-Check for DFT, Pin hole detection/ Holiday detection/ degree of cure
6.0 Inspection equipment
- Availability of sufficient & appropriate equipment to carry out inspection?
- Is this equipment calibrated and is there certificate available?
