I. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course is an introduction to the concepts, theories and principles of political science, types
of political systems, development of political institutions and the processes involved in a larger
international world system. The course specifically provides an understanding on Philippine
Government and politics as it gives highlights on studying and examining the development,
organization and operation of the Philippine political system with special emphasis on the
Philippine constitution.
