Guidance On How To Conduct Risk Reduction Observations

Safety Observation Respond by talking to the employee about what you observed:

• Don’t merely observe an unsafe behavior and fail to say anything.
Take action to change the situation for the better.
Fatal and Life-Changing Injury Precursors: • Make it private. Take the employee aside – out of earshot of others.
