More than one million drivers in Pakistan are ticketed annually for breaking various traffic rules, such as using mobile phones while driving, speeding, and running red lights. When one person breaks a traffic signal, others often follow their lead, disrupting traffic flow and putting others at risk. Even police officers are sometimes seen breaking traffic signals carelessly in front of traffic wardens. With no enforcement at some intersections, motorists do not feel bound to obey traffic signals and laws.

How People Break The Traffic Signals


You see someone breaking a traffic signal, you think it's 'none of your business', because you
are safe and secure in your own little car, and in your own little world. More than one million
drivers are ticketed for breaking various traffic rules annually in Pakistan’s breaking the traffic
signal, because they use of mobile phone while driving, and overspending are quite common in
the town. A person come from one side of the road and stand near the front side of the traffic
road he see the road is clear and traffic signals is also turn on then he break the traffic signal
gradually that time the other people fellow his path they also break the traffic signal therefore
they create disturbance for other those people who waiting for signals. Even police officers are
seen carelessly breaking traffic signals in the presence of on-duty traffic wardens. In case, there
is no traffic officer deployed at a crossing or any traffic signal then the motorists are not bound
to follow the rules. Many drivers ignore traffic laws, including driving through red lights and
stop-signs and turning left from far right lane.
