LAUNDRY SHOP PROPOSAL

In today’s dynamic world, laundry services could also be

provided by a self-service laundry, a community wash facility or

a dry cleaning system. Over the last century, techniques and

habits of clothes washing have changed significantly. This

development in the meaning and practice of laundry have direct

but contradictory implications for resource consumption and the

case is interesting precisely and it is an area in which

increasingly efficient technologies sustain more demanding

concepts of service (Shore,2003).

In global laundry shop in Bangkok. ‘’Laundry Town’’ is the

only laundry in Bangkok that is made specifically for

In today’s modern environment, based on the Annual Survey of

the Philippines Business and Industry, a laundry shop ranked

second in the service Industry, having a business opportunity of

18% for entrepreneurs. Backman, 2012 (www.ejournals.ph.com)

In today’s local area specifically in Toril region, there is

few existence of laundry shop but the services can’t achieve the

satisfaction of their customers.

Problem Statement
The main problem of this study is to determine the viability

of laundry services specifically, in Manggahan, Lubogan, Toril,

Davao City in the aspects of marketing, management, technical,

financial and socio economic.

Definition of Terms

The following conceptual and operational definitions of

terms are presented for easy understanding of this paper study.

Laundry – is the washing of clothing and linens

laundry processes are often done in the

Laundry Shop – a place where clothing and other

fabrics are washed or cleaned.
